Welcome to my new blog, Lindsay I AM. I have to admit that I'm oddly excited and scared to death. I know that sounds silly, but it's just how I feel. I have a lot of dreams and hopes for this blog. In fact, I hope it becomes much more than just a blog. My greatest hope is that is becomes a connecting place. A place where a bunch of people join together and decide to help each other through whatever they're facing.
I won't go into too much of my hopes for several reasons:
First, I'm really not sure what'll become of this thing. Maybe it will end up being completely different than I have imagined now, at the beginning.
Second, it's like a wish...if you say it outloud, it might not come true. :)
If today is the first day you've "met" me, Hi! I'm working on an "About Me" sort of page, so you can get to know a little more about me. The problem is that I'm just not sure what to say about myself. I'm guessing you don't really care about my favorite word or why I like to leave the left column open on Tetris. :) Therefore, I'm honing my editing skills and trying to decide exactly what you might or might not like to know. (Feel free to give me pointers, if you actually care to know anything specific about me.)
Until I figure it out, you can head on over to Not 2 Us. It's our family website and blog. We've been bloging there for over three years, so you're sure to learn at least a little something about me. :)

A Glitch
LOL! I just realized the comment feature problem. Mike is using me as a test for a new system. :) Some of the features from the old Drupal don't function the same on the new Drupal. He said he'll look at it (and hopefully fix it!) as soon as he can get to it. :)

There's actually significance for everything you see on the page. :) Maybe that'll be a future blog entry... For now, I'm going to leave you hanging in breathless suspense. :)

So, I'm thinking the three butterflies are you children? Butterflies have significance in my life. My brother died several years ago, before he passed he was completly blind. He asked my mother out of the blue one day if he would someday fly as a butterfly flies? Everytime I see a butterfly I think of my brother.
